Test Cricket witnessed the second occasion of a team winning a test by one run margin when New Zealand won the test against England at Wellington by one run. The first occasion of a team winning a test by one run was West Indies winning a test against Australia at Adelaide in Jan 1993. It took 30 years one month for New Zealand to emulate West Indies.
