Shahid Afridi with his four ducks became the sixth batsman in the history of T20I to register four more ducks. Others are – ADS Fletcher of West Indies {five}, JP Duminy of South Africa {four}, HH Gibbs of South Africa {four}, ST Jayasuriya of Sri Lanka {four} and Kamran Akmal of Pakistan {four}. Shahid Afridi and Kamran Akmal share the Pakistan record for most ducks with four ducks each.

Kamran Akmal’s run out for 23 in this game provide the 25th occasion of a wicket keeper batsman dismissed run out in the history of T20I. He holds the record for becoming the first wicket keeper batsman to be dismissed run out in T20I. He was run out for 15 against India at Durban on 14.09.07

It was the third run out dismissal for Kamran Akmal in T20I. The other two occaions are – for 15 vs India at Durban on 14.09.07 and for 5 vs Sri Lanka at Lord’s on 12.06.09. He became the third wicket keeper batsman to be dismissed run out on three or more occasions in T20I. The other two are – MS Dhoni of India {05} and Mushfiqur Rahim of Bangladesh {03}.

Prior to this game, Kamran Akmal and Salman Butt had scored 59 boundary fours in their T20 career. Umar Akmal’s 64 in this game represent the 25th occasion of a Pakistan batsman scoring fifty in T20I. It was his third fifty in T20I.
