CBRLS Kumara of Sri Lanka was dismissed run out for zero after playing 22 deliveries in the first innings of the just concluded test at Lord’s against England to provide the fifth occasion of a batsmen dismissed run out for zero after playing 20 plus deliveries. CBRLS Kumara of Sri Lanka became the third batsman to be dismissed run out for zero after playing exact 22 deliveries.  He is the first Sri Lankan batsman to suffer such an ignominy. Lord’s witnessed such an occasion for the first time in the annals of test cricket. England became the first opposition to effect such a dismissal
