JP Inglis of Australia now holds the record of scoring the fastest century in terms of balls faced by Australian batsmen in Twenty20 Internationals. His 103 against Scotland on 06.09.2024 came in 43 minutes. The previous record was held by three Australian batsmen who had scored the century in 47 minutes. AJ Finch, JP Inglis and GJ Maxwell are the three batsmen. Thus his century in 43 minutes against Scotaand represent  the fastest century in terms of balls faced not only by him but also by the Australian batsmen
