There are 150 cricketers from ten participating teams of CLT20 2010 which starts from today

The break up of age group read thus – from 18 to 19 – 05 cricketers; from 20 to 25 years – 56 cricketers, from 26 to 29 years – 46 cricketers and from 30 to 39 years – 43 cricketers

A Kumble of Royal Challengers Bangalore is the oldest cricketer participating in the tournament at the age of 39 years 297 days, while the youngest cricketer is Adam Mline of Central Districts at the age of 18 years and 135 days – age being computed on start of the tournament, that is, on 10.09.10

A Kumble of Royal Challengers Bangalore is the oldest captain participating in the tournament at the age of 39 years and 297 days, while D Jacobs of Warriors is the youngest captain at the age of 27 years and 279 days, age being computed on start of the tournament, that is, on 10.09.10

MV Boucher of Warriors is the oldest wicket keeper participating in the tournament at the age of 33 years and 250 days, while the youngest wicket keeper is Kushal Janith Perera of Wayamba at the age of 19 years and 358 days – age being computed on start of the tournament, that is, on 10.09.10

As many as 37 left hand batsmen are participating in the tournament. Eleven left arm bowlers {Fast, Medium and Medium Fast} and eleven slow left arm orthodox bowlers play in the tournament.

Five leg break and Five leg break Googly bowlers, seven Right arm Fast bowlers, 34 Right arm medium fast bowlers, 28 Right arm medium bowlers and 31 Right arm off break bowlers have found their way into the tournament.

There are 10 left hand bat-left arm bowlers and 12 Right hand bat-left arm bowlers, 03 Right hand bat-leg break bowlers and 08 Right hand bat-Leg break Googly bowlers taking part in the tournament.

It is interesting to note that the highest run getter and highest wicket taker in T20 game are the members of the same team. DJ Hussey with 3219 runs and DP Nannes with 120 wickets holding the record for most runs and most wickets respectively in T20 games represent South Australia in the tournament. Another batsman – BJ Hodge – who also has 3000 T20 runs to his credit {3077} is also a member of Victoria team. DJ Hussey is also leading Victoria in the tournament
