Victoria’s victory by eight wickets in this game provides the fourth occasion of a team winning a CLT20 game by eight wickets. DP Jayawardene became the second batsman in the tournament to witness his two fifties going in vain – 53 vs Delhi at Delhi on 11.10.09 and 51 vs Victoria at Centurion on 20.09.10. JM How of Central Districts is the other batsman to witness his two fifties going in vain – 77* vs Victoria at Centurion on 12.09.10 and 88* vs Warriors at P Elizabeth on 18.09.10

M Jayawardene and J Mubarak added 72 runs for the third wicket in Wayamba’s innings and AJ Finch and DJ Hussey added 77 runs in an unfinished stand for the third wicket in Victoria’s innings providing the 59th and 60th occasion of batsmen positng fifty plus runs in the tournament.

These two stands provide the 10th and 11th occasion of batsmen posting a fifty plus runs partnership for the third wicket in the tournament.

ML Uduwatte of Wayamba was run out for zero in this game providing the 50th occasion of a batsman dismissed run out in the tournament. He became the eighth batsman to be dismissed for a duck in the tournament
