SR Watson and RT Ponting added 141 runs for the second wicket at Mohali, the venue of the first test of the ongoing test series between India and Australia. This stand gave RT Ponting his 79th three-figure partnership. Only R Dravid of India is ahead of RT Ponting with 82 three figure partnerships to his credit as at the end of the second day of the Mohali test, i.e., as of 02.10.10.
