His knock represents the 34th occasion of a New Zealand batsman scoring a fifty against India. It is BB McCullum’s first fifty on Indian soil and represents his 17th half century of his test career. LRPL scored fifty {56} which represent the 128th occasion of a New Zealand bowler scoring a fifty against India. His knock represents the 35th occasion of a New Zealand batsman scoring a fifty against India. It is LRPL Taylor’s first fifty on Indian soil and represents his tenth half century of his test career. At the end of his innings, his run aggregate stood at 1997 and is three runs shy for his 2000 career runs.
BB McCullum and LRPL Taylor added 104 runs for the third wicket in this test to provide the 45th occasion of New Zealand batsmen posting a three figure stand against India. This stand also represents the tenth occasion of New Zealand batsman posting a three figure partnership for the third wicket against India.
MS Dhoni effected the 24th stumping of his test career, when he stumped BB McCullum of PP Ojha for 65. Coupled with 128 catches, MS Dhoni has an aggregate of 152 victims.
BB McCullum became the 14th New Zealand batsman to be dismissed stumped against India. He is the fifth New Zealand batsman to be dismissed stumped after scoring a fifty.
