Pak vs SAF in UAE 2010 – Neutral tests
Pakistan vs South Africa test match at Dubai International Stadium which is under progress is the 12th test to be played at a neutral venue. As far as Pakistan is concerned, this is the ninth test at a neutral venue. As far as South Africa is concerned, this is the fourth test to be played at a neutral venue.
Australia and South Africa along with England were the three teams that has played the first ever Triangular tournament played in England in 1912. Australia and South Africa had played three tests in this series – at Manchester in May 1912, at Lord’s in Jul 1912 and at Nottingham in Aug 1912.
Asian Test Championship involving India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan played test series in 1988-89. Pakistan and Sri Lanka clashed with each other in the tournament final at Dhaka in Mar 1989
Apart from these four matches which involved three teams, the remaining eight matches are bilateral series – involving two teams. The complete list of neutral tests are tabulated below
