CAPTAINS OF VARIOUS TEAMS

The sixth edition of ICC Champions Trophy 2009 which is in progress in South Africa has witnessed India, England, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and West Indies have at their helm by a different captain other than the one who led them in the previous edition held in India in 2006. Australia and South Africa are the only two teams which have retained the captain who led them in 2006 Edition. Australia were led by RT Ponting while South Africa’s captain is GC Smith in 2006 edition and are leading these two teams in the current edition also.
