For the first time in the annals of test cricket, two bowlers shared the ten wickets in a test match,in two different tests starting on the same date.  R Ashwin and W Sunder of India shared the wickets in the first innings of the test against New Zealand at Pune which started in 24.10.2024 and Noman Ali and Sajid Khan of Pakistan shared the wickets in England’s second innings at Rawalpindi which had a start date of 24.10.2024

It is interesting to note that both these tests lasted three days. India and Pakistan are the neighbouring countries. It is also interesting to note that the bowlers have performed the feat on home soil. India lost the test, while Pakistan won the test. One more subtle observation on this rare feat is – the feat is performed by combination of spin bowlers

Two Pakistan bowlers sharing all the ten wickets in a test innings
