DA Warner performed an unique feat in the history of Indian Premier League. He became the first batsman in the history of the league to aggregate 500 plus runs in four consecutive editions – 528 in 2014, 562 in 2015, 848 in 2016 and 535 in the ongoing edition of IPL 2017. He went past CH Gayle  who had scored 500 plus runs in three consecutive editions – 608 in 2011, 733 in 2012 and 708 in 2013. The performance of these two batsmen are detailed below

DA Warner has aggregated 535 runs in the ongoing edition of IPL 2017. He has aggregated 500 plus runs in four editions of IPL – 848 in 2016, 562 in 2015, 535 in 2017 and 528 in 2014,  He became the second batsman in the history of IPL to score 500 plus runs in four edition of IPL after V Kohli. V Kohli on his part has scored 973 in 2016, 634 in 2013, 557 in 2011 and 505 in 2015.  CH Gayle, G Gambhir and SK Raina have aggregated 500 plus runs in three editions. The break up of 118 occasions read thus – two occasions of six wickets hauls, sixteen occasions of five wicket hauls and one hundred occasions of four wicket hauls.
