Mayank Agarwal’s 249 runs in the semifinal against Saurashtra at Bangalore fetched him an aggregate of 935 runs in this season of Ranji Trophy 2022/23. He became the only batsman to score 900 plus runs in this season. He went past DR Shorey of Delhi and Sachin Baby of Kerala who had amassed 859 runs and 830 runs respectively.

His boundary sixes aggregate this season read 20. He became the third batsman to score 20 plus boundary sixes in this season after BK Saurabh of Bihar {26} and Sumit Singh of Sikkim {24}

With 101 boundary fours to his credit at the end of his 249 against Saurashtra, Mayank Agarwal became the second batsman to score 100 plus boundary fours in this season. DR Shorey of Delhi has scored 116 boundary fours.
