Shoaib Bashir of England captured six wickets conceding 81 runs against Zimbabwe in the third innings of the just concluded test at Nottingham to provide the second occasion of a England spin bowler capturing six or more wickets in a test innings at Nottingham. BJT Bosanquet was the other England spin bowler to capture six or more wickets in a test innings at Nottingham. He returned with figures of 8 for 107 in May 1905. The interval between the feats of BJT Bosanquet and Shoaib Bashir is a mind boggling 120 years!!!!!!!!!
