Bangalore is slated to host its 25th Test Match

The ensuing test between India and New Zealand scheduled to start on 16th of this month will be the 25th Test match to be played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.  M Chinnawamy Stadium will become the 43rd ground to host 25 test matches in the annals of test cricket.  It will also become the fifth ground on Indian soil to host 25 matches. Others are – Eden Gardens-Kolkata {42}, Arun Jaitley Stadium-Delhi, {35}, Chepauk-Chennai {35} and Wankhede Stadium-Mumbai {26}

Of the 24 tests played at Chinnaswamy Stadium, India has won nine Tests, lost six Tests and nine Tests were drawn. The break-up of tests against various Oppositions with results is furnished below.  India has played against eight Oppositions at Bengaluru.
