V Kohli and AB de Villiers posted 215 runs in an unfinished partnership fof the second wicket in the game between Bangalore and Mumbai at Mum-WS on 10.05.15 to provide the fifth occasion of batsmen posting a 200 plus runs partnership in the history of Twenty20 games. This partnership represents the highest partnerhip for any wicket in the history of Twenty20 games. The previous best was the 206 runs partnership for the second wicket between Punjab and Banglaore at Dharamsala on 17.05.11. Both the occasions are listed below

SP Narine captured four for 19 representing Kolkata against Punjab at Kolkata on 09.05.15. It was his eleventh four wicket haul in T20 games and he now shares the record for most four wicket hauls in the history of T20 games with SL Malinga. CH Gayle’s lone  boundary six in the game between Bangalore and Rajasthan at Bangalore  on 29.04.15 gave him the 500th boundary six in Twenty20 games and  with the the distinction of becoming the first ever batsman to score 500 boundary sixes in the history of Twenty20 games

His lone boundary four in this game gave him an aggregate of 569 boundary fours. He  is the only batsman in the history of Twenty20 games to score 500 boundary fours and 500 boundary sixes – an unique distinction for the master batsman from West Indies

He completed 5000 runs when he was on 20 during his knock of 39 in the game between Chennai and Bangalore at Bangalore on 22.04.15. Chris Gayle is one boundary six shy of 500 boundary sixes in Twenty20 games. At the end of Bangalore-Delhi game at Delhi on 26.04.15, his aggregate of boundary sixes read a mammoth 499. If he scores one more boundary six, he  would then become the first batsman ever to score 500 boundary sixes in  the history of Twenty20 games.

If he gets one more boundary six, which would be his 500th boundary six in T20 games, he would be the proud owner of yet another world record. Having scored 568 boundary fours already, he would become the first batsman ever to score 500 boundary fours and 500 boundary sixes in the  history of Twenty20 games

He has an aggregate of 6975 runs in T20 games prior to the start of IPL 2015 . He needed 25 more runs for his 7000 runs. He reached the 7000 run mark when he was on 25 during his  knock of 96 against Kolkata at Kolkata on 11.04.15.  At the end of Bangalore’s second game against Sunrisers at Bangalore on 13.04.15, his run aggregate read a mammoth 7092. He became the first batman  in the annals of T20 games to total 7000 runs.

He has scored 494 boundary sixes in T20 games as on 13.04.15.  He needs six more boundary sixes to have an aggregate of 500 boundary sixes. If he scores these, he would then become the first batsman in the annals of T20 games to score 500 boundary sixes

He has an aggregate of 559 boundary fours and If he gets 500 boundary sixes, he would earn the distinction of becoming the first batsman in the annals of T20 games to score 500 boundary fours and 500 boundary sixes

 

His 96 against Kolkata at Kolkata on 11.04.15 was his 46th half century in T20 games prior to the start of IPL 2015. He needs four more half centuries for his 50th half centuries  in T20 games. If he gets them, he would then become the first batsman in the history of T20 game to score 50 half centuries.
