He reached the landmark when he was on 74 during his knock of 100 in the game against Railways at Bengaluru on 24.02.21. His runs aggregate at the end of this game read 3026. He became the fourth batsman in the tournament to score 3000 plus runs. Others are – Yahspal Singh {3193}, A Mukund {3048} and MK Tiwari {3007}.

Karnataka posted 354 for 3 in this game to provide its third 350 plus runs team total in the tournament. It also provides Karnataka’s second highest team total in the tournament.
