RW Taylor with seven dismissals at Mumbai in Feb 1980 holds the record for most dismissals in an innings by an England wicket keeper against India. BK Kunderan is the only Indian wicket keeper to effect five dismissals in an  innings against England. He effected five dismissals in an innings at Mumbai-BS in Nov 1961

AN Cook of England with 25 catches to his credit holds the record for most catches by an England fieldsman against India, while SM Gavaskar with 35 catches to his credit holds the record for most catches by an Indian fieldsman against England.

Yajurvindra Singh is the only Indian fieldsman to pouch five catches in an innings against England, while no England fieldman has pouched five catches in an innings against India. Yajurvindra Singh has taken five catches in an innings against India at Bengaluru in Jan 1977. GA Hick has pouched four catches at  Kolkata in Jan 1983 and holds the  record for most catches by an England fieldsman against India.
