V Kohli celebrates after reaching his  fourth test double hundred  while leading India

V Kohli of India became the fifth captain in the annals of test cricket to score four or more double hundreds. He joined the elite list with his 204 against Bangladesh in the ongoing test at Hyd-RGS. His 204 was his fourth test century while leading India. BC Lara {05}, DG Bradman {04}, MJ Clarke {04} and GC Smith {04} were the other captains who had accomplished the feat. CJ Jordan became the seventh England bowler to concede fifty plus runs in a Twenty20 International

CJ Jordan of England conceded 56 runs in the third T20I against India at Bangalore  on 01.02.17 to provide the ninth occasion of an England bowler leaking fifty plus runs in a T20I

He also became the seventh bowler to concede fifty plus runs in a T20I game against India and also the second England bowler to concede fifty plus runs against India. The following tables list all such occasions

SK Raina joined the select band of eight batsman who have scored 250 plus boundary sixes in T20 games. He accomplished the feat during his knock of 63 against England at Bangalore on 01.02.17. In this game he scored five boundary sixes. His third boundary six gave him an aggregate of 250 boundary sixes. At the end of the game he had scored 252 boundary sixes. MS Dhoni completed 5000 runs in Twenty20 games when he was on five during the course of his knock of 56 in the third T20I against England on 01.02.17.  At the end of the third game at Bangalore his aggregate read 5051. He became the 28th batsman in the history of T20 games to score 5000 plus runs.

MP Stoinis scored eleven boundary sixes  in his knock of 146 not out in the game between Australia and New Zealand at Auckland on 30.01.17. His knock was in a losing cause. He became the fourth batsman in the history of one day internationals to score ten or more sixes in a losing cause. Others are ML Hayden {10}, KA Pollard {10} and AD Mathews {10}.
