CA Pujara scored 256 not out in the ongoing Duleep Trophy Finals between India Blue and India Red at Greater Noida to provide the 45th occasion of a batsman scoring 200 plus runs in the history of Duleep Trophy. All such occasions are listed below

CA Pujara became the first batsman to score 250 plus runs in a Duleep Trophy game reduced to a three team contest played with a pink ball. BCCI had converted this year tournament to a three team contest. Duleep Trophy was a zonal contest earlier right from its inception in 1961-62

CA Pujara achieved the landmark of reaching 10,000 runs in First Class Cricket during his knock of 111 not out on the first day of Duleep Trophy Finals between India Blue and India Red at Greater Noida. He reached the landmark when he was on 19 during his knock of 111 not out. At the end of the first day of Duleep Finals, his first class run aggregate read 10092. He also became the third Australian captain opener to accomplish such a feat after MA Taylor and AC Gilchrist. DA Warner became the second Australian captain opener to score a century against Sri Lanka. Prior to DA Warner, AC Gilchrist had scored 116 at Perth in Jan 2006
