LMP Simmons became the first batsman in the Caribbean Premier League to total 2000 runs. As on 2nd August 2016, his aggregate read an impressive 2012 from 70 games. ADS Fletcher {1888} and CH Gayle {1738} are the other two batsmen to have totaled 1700 plus runs in CPL

Karnataka Premier League (KPL) is an Indian Twenty20 cricket league established by the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) in August, 2009. The domestic cricket competition is modeled along the lines of the popular Indian Premier League (IPL). Just like the Indian Premier League, whose title sponsor was realty major DLF, the title sponsor of the Karnataka Premier League (KPL) is Bangalore-based real estate developer, Mantri Developers. Mantri Developers won the rights to be the title sponsor of this event for a period of five years for an amount of ₹110 million

The first season was held from 9 September 2009, to 23 September 2009.[2] The second season was held from 18 September 2010, to 3 October 2010. The league is chaired by the KSCA secretary, Brijesh Patel, and includes eight franchisee teams representing cities in Karnataka. The third season was held from 28 August 2014 and the auction for the same was conducted on August 7th. The fourth season is to be held in Aug-Sep 2015 and the matches will be played at Mysore and Hubli.

RL Chase became the fourth West Indian bowler to suffer such an ignominy. While every Indian basked in the glory of Indian skipper V Kolhi’s double century and R Ashwin’s all round effort of a century coupled with seven wickets and rejoiced the victory at North Sound, every one seemed to forget wicket keeper WP Saha’s record contribution to the victory. He has effected seven dismissals – six in the first innings and one in the second innings – and earned the distinction of becoming the first Indian wicket keeper to effect seven dismissals against West Indies in West Indies
