Mustafizur Rahman became the second Bangladesh bowler to capture five wickets on debut in an one day game after Taskin Ahmed. Taskin Ahmed had captured five for 28 against India at Dhaka  on 17,01.14 .

 

Bangladesh became the second team to produce two bowlers who have captured five wicket s on one day debut after Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka has SHU Karnain who took five for 26 against New Zealand at Moratuwa on 31.03.84 and TCB Fernando who took five for 67 at Sharjah on 26.10.01.
