CH Gayle achieved another rare distinction in IPL during his knock of 117 In the game between Bangalore and Punjab at Bangalore on 06.05.15. He completed 1500 runs at Bangalore when he was on 41 during his knock of 117. He became the first batsman in IPL to score 1500 plus runs at Bangalore thus earning the distinction of scoing most runs in IPL on a single ground.  He represented two teams in IPL – Kolkata and Bangalore.

 

V Kohli is on the threshold of achieving this distinction to become the second batsman to score 1500 runs at Bangalore. As on 06.05.15, he has an aggregate of 1474 and require 26 more runs.

CH Gayle completed 3000 runs  in  IPL when he was on 52 during his  knock of 117 in  the game between Bangalore and Punjab at Bangalore on 06.05.15. At the end of this  game, his run aggregate read 3065. He became the fourth batsman in the history of IPL to score 3000 plus runs. Others are – SK Raina, RG Sharma and G Gambhir.
