Couple of records for DA Warner on home soil

DA Warner’s 164 against Pakistan at Perth in the just concluded test represent his 20th century on home soil while opening the innings. He became the second opening batsman in the annals of test cricket to score 20 plus centuries on home soil. ML Hayden is the other opening batsman to score 20 plus centuries on homs soil. He has scored 21 centuries on home soil. This is a record for Australian opening batsmen also. Incidentally. both ML Hayden and DA Warner are left handed opening batsmen.
