CJD de Villiers of Diamond Eagles returned with figures of 4.0-2-17-4 against Somerset at Hyderabad on 16.10.09 in the on going Champions League T20. He earned the distinction of becoming the first bowler to bowl two maiden overs in the Champions League T20

He became the 12th bowler in the history of T20 games to bowl two maiden overs in four over spell allotted to a bowler. His figures of 4.0-2-17-4 in this game makes him the second bowler in the history of T20 games to capture four or more wickets in a four overs spell of which two were maiden overs. The other bowler was AD Mascarenhas of Hampshire who returned with figures of 3.5-0-14-5. The 12 bowlers list is furnished below
