As far Sri Lanka is concerned, it is the sixth occasion of its four bowlers conceding 100 plus runs in a test innings against various oppositions including the one at Mumbai-BS. It is the third such feat by Sri Lankan bowlers against India. The other two were at Kanpur in Dec 86 and Nov 09
The aggregate runs of 671 runs conceded by four bowlers at Mumbai-BS against India remains the highest run aggregate by Sri Lankan bowlers. The previous best was 561 runs against India at Kanpur in Nov 09, the second test of the ongoing series.

The other three are – 124 by LRD Mendis at Kandy in Sep 85, 111 by ST Jayasuriya at Galle in Aug 01 and 136 by DPMD Jayawardene at Col-SSC in Jul 08

MS Dhoni completed 100 catches behind the wicket when he caught AD Mathews for 5 of Zaheer Khan in Sri Lanka’s second innings.
MS Dhoni became the 30th wicket keeper to pouch 100 plus catches and the third Indian wicket keeper to achieve the feat after SMH Kirmani {160} and KS More {110}
KC Sangakkara competed 1000 runs in the calendar year 2009 when he was on 54 during his innings of 133 not out at the end of the fourth day’s play.
