MS Dhoni has scored three hundreds apart from his 17 half centuries and thus has a total of 20 fifties to his credit. The three centuries are – 148 vs Pakistan at Faisalabad in Jan 2006, 110 vs Sri Lanka at Ahmedabad in Nov 2009 and 100 not out vs Sri Lanka at Mumbai {BS} in Dec 2009.

FM Engineer has scored two hundreds apart from his 16 half centuries and thus has a total of 18 fifties to his credit. The two centuries are – 109 vs West Indies at Chennai in 1967 and 121 vs England at Mumbai {BS} in Feb 1973

MS Dhoni’s twenty fifties is the record for most fifties scored by an Indian wicket keeper batsman. The previous best was FM Engineer’s 18 fifties.
