New Zealand vs Bangladesh First one day at Napier PJ Ingram joins the list of batsman who have scored fifty on their one day debut
New Zealand opening batsman PJ Ingram scored a fifty – 69 – on his one day debut against Bangladesh in the first one day game at Napier on 05.02.10 providing the 79th occasion of a batsman scoring a fifty on debut in one day games.
He is the sixth New Zealand batsman to achieve the feat. All the six such occasions are listed below

PJ Ingram became the 30th opening batsman to score a fifty on his debut. He is the second opening batsman to achieve the feat against Bangladesh, the first being MJ Cosgrove of Australia who had scored 74 at Fatullah on 28.04.06. Apart from these two batsmen who were opening batsmen, RD Shah of Kenya has scored 52 on his debut against Bangladesh as a non opener at Hyd-India on 17.05.98, making PJ Ingram as the third batsman to register a debut fifty against Bangladesh
