RT Ponting earns a world record for most run out dismissals

RT Ponting’s dismissal run out for 22 in the first innings of the ongoing second test against New Zealand provide the 13th occasion of his being dismissed run out in a test innings. He now owns the record of most run out dismissals in the annals of test cricket. He wrested the record from AR Border and ML Hayden who were dismissed on 12 occasions
