IPL 2010 : SR Tendulkar becomes the sixth batsman to total 500 runs in an edition of IPL
ST Tendulkar aggregated 500 runs in IPL 2010 when he was on 77 during the course of his knock of 89 not out in the game against Jaipur at Jaipur on 11.04.10. At the end of the game his aggregate stood at 512.
He became the sixth batsman to aggregate 500 plus runs in a single edition of IPL. The other five batsmen are – SE Marsh of Mohali {616 in 2008}, ML Hayden of Chennai {572 in 2009}, G Gambhir of Delhi {534 in 2008},ST Jayasuriya of Mumbai {514 in 2008} and JH Kallis of Bangalore {501 runs}
SR Tendulkar became the second batsman after JH Kallis to aggregate 500 plus runs in the ongoing edtion of IPL 2010
SE Marsh’s 616 runs have come from 11 matches, 11 innings of which two were not outs. His highest score is 115 and he has an average of 68.44 runs per innings. He has scored one hundred and five half centuries. He has hit 59 boundary fours and 26 boundary sixes
ML Hayden’s 572 runs have come from 12 matches, 12 innings of which one was a not out. His highest score is 89 and has an average of 52.00. He has scored five half centuries. He has hit 60 boundary fours and 22 boundary sixes.
G Gambhir’s 534 runs have come from 14 matches, 14 innings of which one was not out. His highest score is 86 and has an average of 41.07 runs per innings. He has scored five half centuries. He has hit 68 boundary fours and eight boundary sixes
