B Sumanth is the ninth fieldsman to pouch three or more catches in an IPL game. The captioned table has DA Warner of Delhi twice in the list – he has pouched four catches against Jaipur at Delhi on 31.03.10 and three catches against Bangalore at Delhi on 04.04.10

DA Warner is the only fieldsman in IPL to have pouched three or more catches in an IPL game on two occasions

B Sumanth is the second Hyderabad fieldsman to pouch three catches in an IPL game, the first being RP Singh. He had accounted for three Chennai batsman at Chennai on 14.03.10

SR Tendulkar of Mumbai and DA Warner of Delhi share the record for most catches in an IPL game with four catches to their credit. SR Tendulkar took four catches against Kolkata at Mumbai on 16.05.08, while DA Warner accounted for four Jaipur batsmen at Delhi on 31.03.10
