We had posted this article on 31.03.10 thinking that DJ Hussey completed 50 catches when he caught PD Collingwood of the bowling of CK Langveldt for 53 in the game between Kolkata and Delhi at Delhi on 29.03.10. We had erred on this milestone of DJ Hussey as the catch taken by him in the game against Delhi was actually his 49th catch.

We regret the error. However we are pleased to inform that DJ Hussey became the first fieldsman in Twenty20 games to pouch 50 catches in the game between Kolkata and Hyderabad at Kolkata on 02.04.10.

DJ Hussey became the first fieldsman in the history of Twenty20 games to pouch 50 catches. He reached the milestone when he caught HH Gibbs of the bowling of SE Bond for 50 in the game between Kolkata and Hyderaabad at Kolkata on 01.04.10.
