DPMD Jayawardene with four catches in the third test against India at Sara Oval {two in each innings} has pouched 101 catches on home soil. He earned the distinction of becoming the first fieldsman to pouch 100 plus catches on home soil. Prior to this test he was on par with MA Taylor who has pouched 97 catches.
