SCJ Broad with his 12 wickets against Pakistan became the third bowler to capture 12 wickets against a specific opposition. Thus SCJ Broad, Mohammad Amir and JE Taylor share the record for most wickets against a specific opposition in T20I games.

SCJ Broad {12}, GP Swann {11} and DP Nannes {11} are the three bowlers to capture ten or more wickets against Pakistan in T20I. SCJ Broad with 12 wickets holds the record for most wickets against Pakistan.

Shahid Afridi’s lone wicket in this game gave him an aggregate of 47 wickets in T20I. He is now on par with his team mate Umar Gul who also has an aggregate of 47 wickets.

Shahid Afirdi and Umar Gul now share the record for most wickets in T20I games with 47 wickets each.

At the end of this game P Collingwood of England and DL Vettori of New Zealand share the record for most captaincy assignments in T20I. Both have captained their teams on 28 occasions. PD Collingwood went past GC Smith’s {South Africa} 27 captaincy assignments for South Africa and equaled DL Vettori’s {New Zealand} 28 captaincy assignments.

Shahid Afridi’s lone wicket in this game gave him an aggregate of 14 wickets while leading Pakistan in T20I. Other captains to capture 10 or more wickets as captain in T20I are – DL Vettori {35}, P Utseya {12}, Shoaib Malik {11} and CH Gayle {10}
