Ind vs NZl 2010 : Ahmedabad Test : VVS Laxman aggregates 1000 boundary fours
During his knock of 91 in the second innings of the first test against New Zealand at Ahmedabad, VVS Laxman earned the distinction of becoming the 18th batsman in the annals of test cricket to score 1000 plus boundary fours. At the end of the test, he has an aggregate of 1001 boundary fours.
VVS Laxman is the ffith Indian batsman to score 1000 plus boundary fours. Others are – SR Tendulkar {1841}, R Dravid {1475}, V Sehwag {1048} and SM Gavaskar {1016}
