World Cup 2011 : Match No 05 : Man of the Match Award for losing team in the World Cup
RN ten Doeschate was awarded Man of the Match against England at Nagpur on 22.02.11 even though his team ended as a losing side. His getting the Man of the Match award provided the 20th occasion of a cricketer being awarded the Man of the Match for a losing team in the world cup
RN ten Doeschate became the second Netherland cricketer to bag the MoM award for a losing team after TBM de Leede who was awarded MoM against India at Paarl on 12.02.03 in the world cup
