Captains collecting the first ball ducks on three or more occasions in one day games – Mahela Jayawardene of Sri Lanka is a new entrant
DPMD Jayawardene’s first ball duck in the fifth and final one day game against Pakistan on 18.06.12 in the recently concluded one day series provide the 94th occasion of a captain collecting the first ball duck in the annals of one day games.
It represents his third first ball duck as a captain.. The other two occasions are – vs. Netherlands at Amstelveen on 06.07.06 and vs. Zimbabwe at Harare on 20.11.08. All his first ball ducks are furnished below
