The Wisden Trophy – First ball ducks on debut – SC Gabriel of West Indies joins the club

SC Gabriel, the West Indies debutant was dismissed first ball on his test debut at Lord’s in the first test between Englandand West Indiesin May 2012 providing the 91st occasion of a batsman collecting the first ball duck on test debut.

SC Gabriel’s first ball duck provide the 15th occasion of aWest Indies batsman to suffer such an ignominy. All the fifteen occasions are listed below. SC Gabriel became the first West Indian batsman to collect the first ball duck on debut against England.
