CH Gayle on the threshold of a new world record in the history of Twenty20 games

CH Gayle on the threshold of a new world record in the history of Twenty20 games

Chris Gayle is one boundary six shy of 500 boundary sixes in Twenty20 games. At the end of Bangalore-Delhi game at Delhi on 26.04.15, his aggregate of boundary sixes read a mammoth 499. If he scores one more boundary six, he  would then become the first batsman ever to score 500 boundary sixes in  the history of Twenty20 games.

If he gets one more boundary six, which would be his 500th boundary six in T20 games, he would be the proud owner of yet another world record. Having scored 568 boundary fours already, he would become the first batsman ever to score 500 boundary fours and 500 boundary sixes in the  history of Twenty20 games
