At the end of New Zealand’s first innings, JM Anderson had tally of exact 50 wickets against New Zealand. SCJ Broad 50^th victim was L Ronchi whom he had caught by JM Anderson. SCJ Broad returned with figures of 5 for 109 and his aggregate wickets against New Zealand read 51 at the end of New Zealand’s first innings.  JM Anderson and SCJ Broad became the 13^th and 14^th bowlers to capture 50 plus wickets against New Zealand.
