AN Cook’s records – owns most nineties among the England batsmen and also England’s opening batsmen
AN Cook now owns the record for most nineties amongst the England batsmen and also amongst the England opening batsmen. His 96 in the ongoing second test at Lord’s between England and West Indies represent his seventh ninety. It was also his seventh ninety while opening the innings for England. He went past G Boycott who had scored six nineties. G Boycott’s six nineties were scored when he opened the innings for England. The nineties scored by these two batsmen are listed below
