MG Johnson of Australia is a new entrant to the 300 plus wickets bowlers’s club

MG Johson of Ausrtalia captured his 300th test wicket when he captured the wicket of JM Bairstow caught by wicket keeper P Nevill for 5 in the ongoing third test at Birmingham against England in England’s first innings on the second day of the test – 30.07.15. He captured one more wicket that of BA Stokes caught by wicket keeper P Nevill for duck after his 300th wicket to take his total aggregate of  wickets to 301. MG Johnson returned with figures of 2 for 66 in this innings.  He became the 28th bowler to capture 300 plus test wickets in the annals of test cricket.
