History repeats itself after Thirty years for Binnys.

History repeats itself after Thirty years for Binnys.

History repeated itself after Thirty years for Binnys. Father Roger Binny was selected as an additional cricketer for the tour of Sri Lanka in 1985 after the first test.  He played the  third test at Kandy.

Thirty years later – in 2015 – Son Stuart Binny is being drafted as an additional cricketer for the tour of Sri Lanka, after the first test.

For those who are interested in odd similarities – the names of the the captains of India on 1985 and 2015 tours – both names start from the letter “K”.  On 1985 tour India’s captain was Kapil Dev and on 2015 tour it is Kohli
