LD Chandimal of Sri Lanka scored 83 and 58 in the just concluded test against New Zealand to provide the 67^th occasion of a Sri Lankan batsman scoring twin fifties in test. It also provides the 97^th occasion of a batsman scoring twin fifties against  New Zealand in test.

LD Chandimal’s feat provides the ninth occasion of a Sri Lankan batsman scoring twin fifties in a test against New Zealand.
