Bangladesh hold its nerve to beat Netherlands and wins by eight runs margin

Mushfiqur Rahim failed to open his account to provide the 19th occasion of a wicket keeper batsman scoring a duck in WT20 and also the first such occasion by a Bangladesh wicket keeper. It also provides the 21st occasion of a Bangladesh batsman soring a duck in WT20

L van Beek returned with figures of 4.0-0-43-0 to provide the 47th occasion of a bowler conceding 40 plus runs without capturing a wicket in WT20 game and the second such occasion by a Netherlands bowler. Ahsan Malik had similar figures of 4.0-0-43-0 against New Zealand at Chittagong on 29.03.14.

Dharamsala became the second ground and 17th ground overall to host a WT20 game in its six editions.

Bangladesh won this game by eight runs to provide the 16th occasion of a team winning a WT20 game by single digit runs {1 to 9} and the first such occasion by exact eight runs and also the first win by Bangladesh by a single digit margin

Bangladesh posted its fourth win in WT20, while Netherlands suffered its fourth loss in WT20.

RE van der Marve became the first cricketer to appear for two countries in WT20. He had earlier played a total of nine games representing South Africa in 2009 and 2010 WT20 held in England and West Indies respectively.
