H Masakadza was dismissed run out in this game to provide the 22nd occasion of a captain dismissed run out in WT20 and also the second occasion for a Zimbabwe captain. H Masakadza with four run outs to his credit, now owns the record for most run outs of an opening batsman in WT20. TM Dilshan of Sri Lanka and Tamim Iqbal of Bangladesh are the two opening batsmen who have been dismissed run out on three occasions. H Masakadza occupies the second place in the list of batsmen who have been dismissed run out on most occasions in WT20. MS Dhoni and DL Vettori who have been dismissed run out on five occasions occupy the joint first place.

H Masakadza’s run out in this game represent his seventh run out dismissal in T20I. Other batsmen to be dismissed run out on seven occasions in the history of T20I are – Mushfiqur Rahim of Bangladesh, Samiullah Shenwari of Afghanistan, Umar Akmal of Pakistan and KS Williamson of New Zealand.

SC Williams scored 53 in this game to provide the 173rd occasion of a batsman scoring a fifty in WT20 and the fifth such occasion by a Zimbabwe batsman in WT20
