Most successful opening pair in Indian Premier League
RV Uthappa and G Gambhir of Kolkata Knight Riders are the most successful opening pair in the history of Indian Premier League. They have been concerned in twelve partnerships of 50 plus runs of which three are century partnerships for the opening wicket in IPL. All the twelve partnerships are listed below
They have five 50 plus stands for the first wicket in 2014 editions of IPL, two such stands in 2015 edition and five such stands in the ongoing 2016 edition.
