V Kohli’s run aggregate of 752 runs is the highest aggregate of runs by any batsman in IPL. The previous best – was 733 by CH Gayle in 2012 and 733 by MEK Hussey in 2014.
He scored 75 not out against Kolkata on 16.05.16 which represents his eighth fifty in IPL 2016. He now shares the record for most fifties by a batsman in a IPL edition with CH Gayle who also has scored eight fifties in IPL.
