V Kohli’s run aggregate in Twenty20 games in the calendar year 2016 at the end of the game between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders at Bangalore on 02.05.16 read 1058. He became the first batsman to total 1000 plus runs in Twenty20 game in the calendar year 2016. It was his first such feat in Twenty20 games. His feat provides the 35th occasion of a batsman accomplishing the feat of scoring 1000 runs in a calendar year in the history of Twenty20 games. All such occasions are listed below
