MM Ali of England scored 155 not out and returned with figures of 1 for 136 in one of the innings of the just concluded second test against Sri Lanka at Chester-le-Street to provide the ninth occasion of a cricketer scoring 150 plus runs with the willow and conceding 100 plus runs with the leather in the annals of test cricket. All such occasions are listed below; MM Ali became the second England cricketer to accomplish such a feat at BA Stokes
